Homes for Sale in Milford, Indiana

Milford is a lovely urbanized town in the northern part of Kosciusko County, IN. It is directly bordered by Preston Miles Ditch to the north, Turkey Creek to the west and east, and Waubee Road to the south. Milford was established by Aaron M. Perrine back in 1836. He was an educated individual who, together with his family, settled in the area. Just like other areas, this particular community started small. There were only five streets in the neighborhood, with 144 lots. Perrine sold these lots for $10 to $50 apiece. Today, the town has more than 1,500 residents who continuously enjoy the features of the area.

Homes for sale in the lovely town of Milford enjoy the gorgeous trees that line the streets. These homes boast their Craftsman, Country, Traditional, and Victorian architecture with a hint of Tudor motif. Their gorgeous combination of designs makes them appear classy and truly American.

There are two forms of homes in the area: manufactured and single-family homes. Manufactured homes usually cost $50,000 to $170,000 apiece. These mobile settlements typically enjoy three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 920 to 1,600 square feet of floor area. The great thing about owning a manufactured home is that you can have the same home in another area because it can be transferred with the manufacturerā€™s assistance. If you want a permanent home with its corresponding lot area, a single-family home might be the one for you. These properties range from $43,000 to $310,000. They already have two to five bedrooms and one to three bathrooms. Most of the time, these homes sit on 0.34 to 1.90 acres of lot area, and they have 900 to 3,500 square feet of floor space. And because the neighborhood is quite historical, the homes were constructed from 1953 to 1994.
